The Greatworth Tour Add Video

A trip down memory lane, up Helmdon Road, onto the Welsh Lane and around the late RAF Greatworth's access roads. This scene was shot from a camera mounted on the `bull bar' on my sidecar, a Russian Ural outfit, a civilianised military motorcycle combination, was driven round an RAF `Cold War' radio transmitter installation, `filming' the site, unthinkable back in the sixties, right?

That video has given me an idea where to site my ham radio aerial.

Nice to re-live that "stagger" back from the pub Martin.
Pity the stile is there and that our old footpath across the aerial farm has been removed and grown over..........you could have gone straight to the old TX site otherwise !! Fond memories indeed.
