Royal Air Force Greatworth

962 Signals Unit.

RAF Greatworth 962-SU's Membership List. Join Site

Open to everyone who served here, from the date it first opened untill it was decommisioned and closed down. This includes civilians and U.S. employees and servicemen (While leased to U.S.). The public who are employed at Greatworth Park and Villagers from the parish are also invited into the membership. (A valid active email address MUST** be submited and used).

** Invalid email addresses quoted in new membership applications are refused entry, sorry, but the system stalls if the email fails!  It's a spambot stopper!

N.B. New members that join, only to promote their own websites, products & etc. That are not relevant to RAF Greatworth or Greatworth Village, are politely reminded that this site IS frequently Moderated! Unwanted  material WILL be quickly removed. Unsuitable membership applications WILL be rejected!

Feedback about this site can be sent to owner via personal message. Or Skype username  martin.t.hall1 (Subject to one being online!)

Please complete a basic profile when joining the membership. A personal profile is an essential part of your membership status, It provides you with an introduction to other members. It has been suggested more than once by members, that the inclusion of an old photo of oneself taken during the time one served, would prompt the memories of others more readily than a name. Of course, pictures are always an interesting item, but old pictures of members from their younger days are particularly usefull for veterans recalling old comrades, last seen in the past, who were known then, only by a nickname, that's no longer used. I have added two more questions to the registration process, phone and address, both are optional, the reason is purely for admin contact in unusual circumstances, eg. absence from the site for a long period of time. We have Elderly members who haven't logged on for over a year and their only contact is an email address, to which their family may not be privvy. These were once our comrades, so a call or a card might be helpfull to them.
