Posted by Martin on December 26, 2010 at 7:39 AM

Well, whether it snowed or not is achedemic, it was a White Christmas with a good coverering of snow and ice everywhere down here in the Thames Vally. I do hope everyone had a wonderfull Christmas, here on Boxing Day, glass of Jamesons in hand and the missus (June) tucking into a snowball (apt!), we've had a quiet weekend Christmas to ourselves, neighbours have popped in, relatives have belled us, the roast pork has been rellished, pudding has gone, sigh! Wassat about New Year? Diet? Yeah, right! Best wishes to all of you in the New Year, My resolution? Live on! Good luck and bless you all.

Cheers Al, much apreciated chap. We're desperately trying to keep clear of all the coughs'n'colds that are everywhere this time of year! Less than a week away for Junes `date' and we've both swapped a sore throat and runny nose, Murphy's law innit?

What an end to the old year, with four differnet groups of visitors btween Christmas Eve and New Years Eve Judy has forgotten how many changes of bed she has made up, and I.ve long forgotten how many meals I've turned out. However, today is finally a relax day, so the ideal opportunity to wish both old and new friends a very Hapy New Year, and the best of everything that they might wish for. And to you particularly Martin and June, may this new year only hold good news. To coin that well worn worn phrase (!) - "ENJOY"

Happy New Year David, to you and your's, we hope you've escaped the ravages of the floods. We have followed the news covering the flooding as we have relatives living in Aussie (WA). Eric Happy New Year too to you and family and anyone else who's viewing the site.
The first decade of the `New' millenium has passed, the kids born around the millenium year are now preparing for their next level of schooling, in a few years, most youngsters will not recall a year that began with ONE! The crazy `Twenties' have begun and the world turns on it's head!!! Where will it all lead?

It's in the evening of New Years Day here and it is still 35 degrees C. Could do with it being just a little cooler but without the snow. However, parts of Queensland have really bad floods with many people being evacuated from towns because of the homes being inundated. New Year greetings to all members may it be a healthy and peaceful New Year for you and yours.
