Reunion 2014

Posted by Don Stoddart on August 13, 2014 at 2:00 PM

Hello June and Martin,

so sorry you were unable to make the Reunion. A good turnout with plenty of comradeship shining through. The weather was kind and three of us, Mike, Alan and myself, enjoyed our traditional walk from the pub, along the road and then across the styles and sheep field. We nosed our way into the VW garage before drawling over the workshop with all those glorious racing cars. Both places let us wander around and admire their work.

many thanks for making all the arrangements. The pub did us proud and provided some lovely lunches....even if someone eat my Bakewell Tart and custard, whilst I had their raspberry flan and cream... I guess the older we get the more likely we will all begin to forget what we ordered!!

hope June's problems are a bit easier now.

take care, Don Stoddart

ps photos were taken and so expect some to be posted on the website....

Thanks, i am sorry we missed such a good day out, but we are glad that everyone had a great time regardless of our absence. Next year We hope to be there XXX fingers.

Can anyone put up a list of who was there, just for the record. We are glad it turned out well despite my poor management.
My June is still having health issues, but is a game girl under it all and sends her best regards.

Ken and Don, good on yer both, true vets and great mates.

Hello Martin and June,
Just reading Don Stoddart's post re reunion and seems a good time was had by all. Could see that you hadn't made it yourselves as June was poorly, hope she is feeling better, give her our love and best wishes, hope to see all at 2015 reunion.
