Congratulations, guys, on yet another trip into our youth. Somebody is putting a lot of work into this, building the site (I have never been able to do that) and keeping it going. I remember pub in Helmdon (Sulgrave?), 4d a pint or cider, 6d mild and bitter. The occasional Saturday dance. I had served at BP as an LAC and in 1944 was PROMOTED to corporal to serve at Greatworth. I left in April 445 to go (back to) Cranwell on a radar course.I had been at Cranwell 1 Radio School 1940 to 1942. 6d fpr a trip tp Banbury--4 of us in the station truck.
And the SWB 11!
Those were the days. Best to everbody.
