The Inn Greatworth

The Inn at Greatworth telephoned me this evening, to ask if there are any special requirements we'd require, by way of food and drink, the'll be open from 11.00 untill 14.30, or later if needed, will we be calling back later and etc. I have intimated that most of us will be likely to take a meal while we chat an make aquaintance, after which we will make our way to the site and take a look around, saying our hello's as we go etc theres the radio ham ...

It's in One Week's Time! Next Thursday!

So,  it's a week today when we meet at The Inn at Greatworth, It maybe a good idea for those that will be there to add a comment to this blog, so's we know how many there'll be, The Inn for one would find that helpfull and I'll ask 888 if they'll be recieving us (likely) as well as a couple of other places in the tx hall.

It's ON for the 12th August Reunion

The date for RAF Greatworths reunion is booked at "The Inn" at Greatworth for the 12th August 2010 and businesses on the old site are being aproached about visiting on that day, so far it looks good. BUT there are clouds on the horizon for future reunions! A new high speed rail link's route is rumoured to be planned that takes it through the site of the TX Hall! So far these interested parties are up for lunch and a drink summer somwhen at The Inn (Hookies) in the village of Greatworth. Given that some notice is required to allow folk to accomodate the date? Please add your tuppenceworth in the comments bellow and we'll see how it goes. I'll update the list here as it progresses. Please say if you are accompanied, vis Mr&Mrs or not, this gives a better idea of the size of our gathering.
